Description

Tudor debuted its iconic Snowflake handset in the 1969 catalog with the references 7016 and 7021. This distinctive handset, coupled with square-shaped indexes on the dial, set the Tudor Submariner apart from its Rolex counterparts. Additional design features, such as the availability of a blue dial and bezel option, as well as differences in the date disc magnification and font for the date version, further distinguished the Tudor Submariner. Despite these differences, the subsequent generation, represented by references 9401/0 and 9411/0, retained these unique characteristics, contributing to their current popularity. While visually distinct from the Rolex Submariner and priced lower, the Tudor Submariner was equally rugged, earning the trust of the French Marine Nationale for over two decades.

Watch condition

Vintage watch – worn. Case has clear marks of wear with micro scratches all over. Some visible dings over the case notable dent on the bottom left lug. Dial is flawless, small micro scratches on the crystal. Movement running smoothly.
